Yes, The Guardian, the British newspaper.
Here in New Mexico we're kind of used to being overlooked. On national weathermaps the closes cities indicated are always Phoenix and Denver. Think back to the old Bugs Bunny cartoons: Albuquerque is usually a catchphrase meaning "the middle of nowhere."
Yet here is our progressive candidate getting profiled at an international level. This is exciting!
Here's a link to the article.
A brief summary of the profile: Martin Heinrich is young, good looking, and likely to be targetted for perceived inexperience by Darren White, our erstwhile sheriff who touts his independence, but fails to mention he was Bush's Bernalillo county re-election chair.
What the article fails to mention are lingering questions over whether Darren White was privy to the firing of David Iglesias.
The article also mentions that after the primary, Heinrich's campaign could use some donations, so it would be derelict of me to not link to Heinrich's ActBlue Page (I am not a member of Heinrich's campaign, I'm just a fan).
It's weird that the eyes of the world are upon us for once, but I promise we won't let it go to our heads.
